As given an exclusive first play by Steve Angello at Escape From Wonderland this past weekend, the second release from Skrillex’s newly launched Owsla label gets itself an ultimate electro treatment from the man of the moment – Tommy Trash. Borrowing brilliantly from Shave It’s asper headmark sound, Zedd’s hottest record to date sees an aftershave alteration emerge from the now London based protagonist of stodgy electro house. Having pioneered a huge wave of warped and brutal offerings to go viral in the scene previously dominated by big room synths, many electro-house heads are to thank Trash, if they not already have, for pulling out champions like The End, Future Folk and a widespread bundle of hit remixes on Carry Me Home, Edge Of The Earth, One Last Ride and Alive.

The original’s occasional reminiscence to the soundtracks in computer and TV games was taken seriously in consideration by the Australia-bred Thomas Olsen whom managed to turn it into one of the leading elements in this first remix out of three to be revealed. It’s due out November 8th along with remixes from Kaskade and 501, have a listen!

Hosted by the Taiwan-stationed mobile phone company HTC, the vast Roundhouse venue in the north of London was, on October 6th, struck by a stunning line of well-reputed DJ’s and artists and a 5000 strong mob of electronic dance music heads. Fronted by the four undermentioned, the HTC Beats Event was undoubtedly successful and here’s our pick for the top sets from Thursday night.

Armed with eccentric tech house and his astounding remix on Paradise in the works, Fedde Le Grand outed his prestigious selection of the chunky beats and progressive tech in a 30 minute set at Roundhouse. As the Dutchman offered flares of his revision of So Much Love and others, Dirty South joined in for a 45 minute marathon of ravishing and absolute brilliant picks that included his forthcoming Walking Alone release on Phazing and the brand-new Arty and Matisse & Sadko collaboration, entitled Trio, to name a couple.

Also, the man behind such major hits as Hello, Ready 2 Go, I Want You and many others, Martin Solveig’s discerning dynamics of raving club records and down-tempo offerings were touted in front of the numerous thousands. Last but not least, fresh off his Shave It release on Skrillex’s Owsla label, the essential tunesmith of electro-house, Zedd, performed his distinct front-runners over a total of 20 minutes.

As a representative of the record label of Skrillex, Zedd comes off the release of Dovregubben via Dim Mak earlier this year to present the second ever instalment of the brand-new Owsla label. Being commonly known that most producers run a wide bundle of genres to stagger their most indulgent sounds and innovatively be the usherings of new vogue’s. However, the young and humble producer from the south-west of Germany has managed to enforce his asper and twisted signature sound from the very beginning, which has resulted in a firm and quick dive into electronic dance music aristocracy and the punchier sounds of club music to vitrify the ability to scoop recognition from the grandest of icons, Steve Aoki and Skrillex included. As he unequally marches to Owsla headquarters as a part of the small horde requested to feature their most unprecedented tenderings on the newly launched record imprint, Zedd, with the underestimated remix on Save The World under his belt, boasts the popular dynamics of his hard beats and the affectional breakdown melodies yet again as Shave It is officially released.
