Release: Avicii – Levels [LE7ELS]

Avicii breathes new air and power into the continued ascension of his most prominent anthem to date – Levels. Named the next ”Bromance” as early as late 2010 after making its debut and prime-time appearance in the Swedish prodigy’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, but frankly, his break-through single doesn’t even come close to competing with the gem that has been crowned by the likes of an everlasting string of top-class DJ’s and even been acknowledged as an essential ”life-safer” lately. Clearly driven by the rapturing and now world renowned synth leads which, even though they may not feature any shape or form of vocals, will catch you crooning the chord progression of complete perfection in no-time. Having had a year, jam packed with an abundance of success and fame, such acclaimed releases as Fade Into Darkness, Sunshine, Sweet Dreams, Blessed and the remix on Drowning, the unstoppable march of Levels continues as it at last sees its official release through Avicii’s recently launched sublabel of Ministry Of Sound,LE7ELS, backed by Universal Music. And despite its widely known leak, this year’s unquestionable hit single is certain to storm the global charts as of now, fuelled by a surpassing melody, distinct euphoria and an outstanding ability of getting people to wanna move.

Live Preview: Avicii vs Eric Turner – Dancing In My Head (Been Cursed Mix)

As the official release date of Levels has finally come to light, we’re happy to be able to unveil the name of the next single from Avicii, starring vocals from the now Sweden residing Eric Turner. From an aspiring bedroom producer just merely a few years back to an unarguable headliner of any club and dance event, the rise of Tim Bergling has made notable impact on clubland as he climbed to #6 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll this year without any marketing whatsoever. Fuelled by last year’s Bromance, the aforementioned trademarker of this year, Fade Into Darkness, Sunshine with David Guetta and a widespread host of hit remixes, there is currently no stopping the continued crusade and prosperity of Avicii.

As rendered in the documented studio session with Future Music Magazine, a live-recorded video of the final version has surfaced, courtesy of it being showcased at K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Canada last Thursday. It blends low-pitched, gorgeous instrumentals with the sensitive voice of Eric Turner for a heart-wrenching break build-up to pave the way for the synth filled chord progression, strongly dashing kicks and momentous baselines to kick in. No release info has yet not been announced, but it’s most likely to fall into line under the banner of his recently launched LE7ELS Records, have a listen!

Ah, finally…some new Avicii and this time its a collaboration with Nicky Romero.  You may remember Romero from a few days ago with his collaboration with Hardwell on their new song “Beta” as well has his awesome remix to the Guetta song “Without You“.  You can clearly hear each guy’s influences in the track but the best part about this new song is that it has an insane amount of energy.  Premiered last week at Nocturnal Wonderland, this brand new track sounds like it has the potential to turn into quite a big song.  Check it out below and let us know what you think!

Today is a big day for Swedish House producer Avicii, with a brand new preview of his Coldplay remix as well as an announcement which makes me wish I lived in New York, every time we hear about him he reaffirms his position as being the artist of the year. With every release topping world charts, who knows where this 22 year old star will stop.

On December 31st Avicii will be headlining his own show in New York City to celebrate New Years Eve. Just to show you how dedicated his fans are, 2 hours after the tickets went on sale, the site overloaded. Now if you are living in that area hurry up and get your ticket before it sells out.
