Led by the previously released Turn It Down and Eyes singles, Kaskade releases his seventh artist album. Unfolding a bunch of new collaborations and sounds, including those that have fuelled the American DJ and producer’s strike into progressive house to be voted the best DJ of America. Debuting his first album in 2003, it was not until the indenture with Ultra Records in 2006 that the rise of Kaskade truly took off, leading him into a placing amongst modern-day’s most highly-rated DJ’s in terms of electronic dance music. Although last year’s ”Dynasty” album was arguably his most  ground-breaking to date, ”Fire & Ice” is already seeing immensely successful charting placings acceded by the aforementioned single releases of 2011. Brilliantly divided into two discs – one for the hottest of club sounds and one for alternate, downtempo ICE mixes on each and everyone of the 10 singles featured – his 2011 album is already exceling previous year’s triumphs with a handful creative tenderings.

Boasting a craft unlike what people may expect out of a jointed making from the divine Kaskade and Skrillex,Lick It debunks an instantly memorable blend of the 70’s most ravishing disco sounds and wobbling, dubstep-influenced chords to form a momentous contribution to the evolution of electronic dance music and the more experimental records off the new double-album.

Filled with a soulful and utmostly emotional chord progression, tipped with the silky voice of Becky Jean Williams from Late Night Alumni, the Illionois-raised Ryan Raddon teams up with Germany’s probably most underrated duo, Inpetto, for the characteristic How Long.

Also armed with blistering chords in conjunction with Rebecca & Fiona’s glorious vocals to make up Turn It Down, the amazingly feel-good progressive piece with Mindy Gledhill that is Eyes and a bunch of collaborations with Dada LifeSkylar GreyHaley and more, the seventh artist album out from Kaskade is finally released.

Kaskade & Inpetto with Late Night Alumni – How Long

Hot off the heels from being voted America’s best DJ in 2011 – a top list that also included Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, A-Trak and many more – Kaskade made his debut appearance on the Pete Tong-hosted Essential Mixon BBC Radio 1 last night. It is most certainly about time the world renowned top-tier DJ debuts his essential pick in front of the two million strong mob listening to the radio station as he’s just revealed that his eighth artist album is coming up, the lead single being the recently released and absolute brilliant Eyes hit. Also having the trenchant Turn It Down single with Sweden’s distinguished female duo, Rebecca & Fiona, officially on the rise, the Illinois-bred DJ and producer is continuing his impeccable streak of success and glory.

However, in this two hour long, high-quality mix-up, Kaskade supplies the BBC listeners with an unequal set, mashing together the progressive lead’s and silky vocals of the American’s own, acclaimed offerings as well as a royally unearthed collection of tracks that includes our exclusively previewed Deniz Koyu and Johan Wedel remix on Dangerous. It also covers his next single with the Swedish duo as well as his own interpretation of Wall’s probably finest release throughout 2011 – the Sending My Love collaboration in between R3hab, Swanky Tunes and Max C!

As part of his forthcoming eighth artist album, titled ”Fire & Ice”, the discerning Kaskade welcomes the notable break-through within dubstep, Skrillex, aboard for a collaborative effort named Lick It. Boasting a craft unlike what people may expect out of a jointed making from these two divine Americans, Lick It unfolds an instantly memorable blend of the 70’s most rapturing disco sounds and wobbling, dubstep-influenced chords to form a momentous contribution to the evolution of electronic dance music. Joining in alongside the already released Eyes and Turn It Down singles, How Long (with Inpetto and Late Night Alumni) and a bunch of collaborations with Haley, Skylar Grey, Dada Life and others, this piece does indeed espy itself as one of the more experimental records off the first double-album out from the DJ recently voted America’s Best in 2011.

Lick It is due out on October 25th as part of the ”Fire & Ice” album on Ultra Records and will also come in shape of a downtempo, icy version from the Illinois-originated producer himself.
